Chiang Mai has some of the best and most creative markets. And Cat NAP is definitely one of them! NAP-Nimmanhaemin Art and Design Promenade is not only a market but a whole association of creators being neighboors and working together. They have built a community in Chiang Mai which focuses on design and hand-made products, bringing people together. They open opportunity to young designers through their famous yearly event in December. NAP’s location is Nimmanhaemin soi 1, a tiny, lively and exceptional street full of art, creations and home decoration boutiques, along with colorful homes and delicious places to eat.
Now, since June, they also organize a smaller version of the popular NAP event: it is call Cat NAP and held every first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each month, from 3pm to 10pm.
Each first weekend of the month, walk in the street 1 of Nimmaheamin Road, look for unique products, meet with artists and taste delicious food: this is the spirit of Cat NAP!
