Chiang Mai Inter. Butoh Dance Festival

Butoh Dance is form of Japanese dance theatre that emcompasses a diverse range of activities, techniques and motivations for dance, performances or movement. Chiang Mai will host a festival of Butoh Dance in December with world class Butoh Master Katsura Kan from Japan as guest
of honor. The festival will be celebrated at Lanna Wisdom School (Sueb San).
Chiang Mai Design Week 2017

Chiang Mai Design Week is a yearly celebration and occasion for Chiang Mai’s designers, craftspeople, students, creative entrepreneurs and businesspeople to showcase their new projects and innovations in design. It is also an open space for dialogue, meeting and exchange where
Chiang Mai’s design community along with designers from other communities and countries come together to celebrate the power of creative thinking and design.
This year’s Chiang Mai Design Week will showcase Pop Market everyday from 14.00 to 22.00 at The Glass House, opposite Chiang Man Temple. More than 90 designers will present their latest creations, hand-made in Chiang Mai.
Sakura Blossom Festival at Doi Mae Salong

Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport Enjoy the delicious tea from Doi Mae Salong, a Chinese community living in the northern region of Thailand, close to Chiang Rai. During this period, Sakura trees are in blossom on both side of the road to the village. It is a very picturesque moment.
Chiang Mai Marathon

The initial target of this marathon was 10,000 runners and the organizers have raised the number to an additional 500 runners which will also increase proceeds to charity.
There is a half-marathon, mini-marathon and a fun-run marathon. Participants will run from Doi Suthep area to the heart of the city, inside Chiang Mai’s moat.
Lampang Ceramic Fair

This annual fair brings together a wide selection of ceramic producers from the surrounding area. The fair also serves as a one-stop shop for special priced diverse ranges of export quality product including tableware, souvenirs and gift items. Perfect for this period of the year!
