This May, Fah Lanna Spa will launch its new signature package, ‘Fah Lanna Wisdom’. This relaxing treatment combines ancient Thai medical wisdom with massages and traditional Lanna culture.

Nestled in a tranquil private garden in the center of the old city, Fah Lanna Spa is a true sanctuary. Products used at the spa are made with natural ingredients, using local herbs
and essences wherever possible. Therapists and Fah Lanna treatments are designed to help you relax and give you a sensorial and spiritual experience in a beautiful setting.

‘Fah Lanna Wisdom’ is truly a one-of-a-kind package. It includes elements of traditional Lanna culture such as a short “Wai Kru” ceremony to pay respect to the master of Thai massage. Guests brings flowers, candles and incense into the treatment room and, together with their massage therapist, they pay their respect. Guest then receive a body balance with a “Taleo”, a Lanna symbol for protection, before a skin and spiritual detox, using betel leaves. This traditional Thai herb treatment will detox the skin and eliminate any negative energies in one’s life. The package also includes a herbal steam bath, a one hour Thai Lanna Wisdom massage plus a herbal ball body and facial massage. It concludes with some gentle body movements which enable the therapist
to check a guest’s body alignment and ability to move. The movements are influenced by traditional Thai dance, which makes this treatment especially unique, offering a true insight into the traditions and culture of Northern Thailand.
