Located in Mae Rim, not far from the Tiger Kingdom and Poo Poo Paper Park, the Siam Insect Zoo is a “must do” activity for children. It might even become the highlight of their trip!
Let your children explore the butterfly enclosure, watch cocoons hatch and dig for squirmy beetle larvae. You can walk in the beautiful garden and enjoy hundreds of butterflies and tropical flowers. The adventurous little ones can also approach spiders, insects and lizards, and take memorable photo with a big insect on their hand.
At the Siam Insect Zoo there are three exhibit rooms with thousands of pinned insects, a fun souvenir shop and a delicious coffee shop to relax in. The adventure takes around one fascinating hour and is fun for the whole family! From there, drive a further two kilometres, to the entrance of the quiet and beautiful Mae Sa waterfall; another great place to visit in this area.
