Shambhala In Your Heart Chiang Dao

A festival of art, music and environmentally-friendly activities under the looming mountain of Chiang Dao Youth Camp.
Shambhala In Your Heart Festival started as a small gathering of conscious Japanese and Thai people and now has grown into a small-scale international music and art festival of nine days.
Expect acoustic guitar - wielding musicians from Japan, Chiang Mai and surrounding areas along with day activities like tie-dye, yoga and even trash-management workshops.
Ticket admission one day 200THB, 10 days: 1000 THB. Admission includes free accommodations while space last: free camping space (tent not included), indoor dormitory (mat + blanket not included), many tipis with fires you can sleep in. Tents, futons, blankets and straw mats are available for rental.
Chinese New Year in Chiang Mai
16-17th February, 2018 @ Lao Chow Alley, Warorot Market , Chiang Mai.
Visit the city's Lao Chow Alley, the local China Town, located at Warorot market. For this occasion, the street along Ping river will be close to cars and motorbikes, allowing pedestrians to walk and have fun. It will be the centre of Chinese New Year Celebrations in town with the street along Ping river being closed at night during two days for the celebration (February 16th & 17th).
