Beginning the class with a trip to the local market, friendly teachers will tell you all about their philosophy of supporting local farmers and vendors over large chain supermarket. Class sizes are at maximum eight people, ensuring everybody receives the right amount of individual attention. Students are first introduced to the coreingredients in Thai cooking before learning how to create their choice of five to six dishes, plus spring rolls. They finish by tasting all their dishes during an unforgettable meal.
At Thai Kitchen Cookery Center, classes are taught in air conditioned Chiang Mai style room, with tea, coffee, water, herbal drinks and snacks provided at any time. Guests also receive a beautiful cooking book and a certificate, plus teachers can adjust class to vegan and vegetarian needs.
Ideally located on Loy Kroh road, Thai Kitchen Cookery School is at walking distance to Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and Thapae Gate. Courses start at 800 THB per person for half day.
