Elephant POOPOOPAPER Park has missed you! During this pandemic period the park with the funny name kept creating eco-friendly andrecycled POOPOOPAPER™ products made from elephant poo. And many of us even ordered their product online and enjoyed doing creative activities with the kids at home.
Now the park has re-opened and welcomes you every weekend from 9am to 5pm.
Their ever happy team can’t wait to present you with great activities and newly created eco-products. They will walk you through a naturally built outdoor museum, the fishy pond, the organic garden and, of course, the creative Adobe Cafe with a menu of healthy and yummy snacks and refreshments including their POOPOO Chip cookies!
Enjoy a fantastic time of art, inspiration and education with local Chiang Mai artisans at Elephant POOPOOPAPER Park! Making handmade paper out of elephant poop fibres is an experience not to be forgotten. Create your own artistic, eco-friendly masterpiece on a handmade sheet of paper made from elephant poo! Not to worry, there’s no stinky smell and there are great photo opportunities!
At Elephant POOPOOPAPER Park you will discover the unique steps involved in the making of paper products from elephant poop fibres. The interactive walking tour through their lush gardens takes visitors through eight different pavilions explaining each stage of the process from poo collection to rinsing to final product assembly. One of these pavilions is home to their new paper making activity where you can choose from their many food colouring bases and flower collections to create your very own eco-friendly Chiang Mai souvenir.
In addition to being eco-friendly, the park is also kid friendly! Children can run around safely in the large garden and enjoy a beautiful time at the hands-on decoration pavilion. This pavilion has plenty of POOPOOPAPER™ products to choose from which visitors can decorate with many embellishments with the assistance of the friendly staff. Whether you have 45 minutes or 3 hours, you can enjoy a memorable adventure and tour full of fun and laughter at Elephant POOPOOPAPER Park.
The Elephant POOPOOPAPER Park gift shop, also known as “The Poo-tique”, is the most incredible souvenir and gift shop dedicated to their handmade and recycled eco-friendly gifts made from poo! There are also many other sustainable, fair trade, handmade and local products. Visitors are certain to find that distinctive and unique gift to take or send home.
