- Yam Som-O Goog; a mild spicy pomelo salad with grilled prawns. Super fresh and full of bright colors, this a fruit-based salad in a mild spicy, sweet dressing. Made with shredded pomelo, toasted coconut, fried shallots, garlic and prawns, it is dresses in a hot, sour, salty, sweet sauce that is really epic! (THB 290++).

- Gaeng Phed Avocado Linchee; this curry dish will really make your day if you are vegetarian! This red curry dish is made with coconut milk and vegetable, using a tasty avocado to replace the meat and some refreshing linchees as the house’s signature. (THB 220++).

- Gai Phad Med Mamuang; stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts is a favorite dish to visitors in Thailand. At Ruen Tamarind, it is cooked with capsicum and the chicken meat is perfectly cooked. (THB 240++).

- Last but not least, Khao Soi at Ruen Tamarind is a subtle mixture of herbs and spices. This egg noodles dish in rich yellow curry broth is served with tender chicken, coconut milk and crispy noodles. Top it with lime juice, some shallots and pickles and a bit of chili and you get the perfect balance of sourness and heat. This dish is on the Northern Thai menu and is a real firework of flavours. Either for lunch or dinner, Ruen Tamarind is a treat for all senses. Created with style this restaurant reminds us of the precious work of the rice farmers: housed in a traditional wooden house, it is decorated with their working tools.
