No holiday experience would be complete without a bit of shopping thrown in, and Chiang Mai has all sorts of beautiful handicrafts treats to bring back home.
Think Park’s art-inspired concept is the first of its kind in Chiang Mai. This openair shopping area is home to a number of coffee shops, clothing stores and accessories. It also hosts a regular market every Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Located on the corner of Nimmanhaemin Road and Huay Kaew Road, it is the place where you will find handmade arts and crafts. Many of the shops are run by young enterprising Thai entrepreneurs. Need a bedazzled iPhone case? You will find it there. T-Shirts with unique graphic designs? You bet, you will see it there.
Think Park also houses a range of coffee shops located in and around its white cobbestone pathways, including Tom N Tom Café and Dom Café. You can grab your lunch or dinner at one of the Thai and Italian restaurants, plus there is also much loved Café Vino, where people come to try the large range of red and white wines on offer whilst they listen to some live acoustic music.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, don’t miss Think Park Night Market where you can purchase clothing, jewellery, accessories and purchase authentic Thai foods while listening to live tunes by young artists.
