Herbal steam at Fah Lanna Spa is a treatment which uses only traditional Thai herbs.
This therapy promotes general health, detoxes the skin, helps cleanse the respiratory system and relaxes the muscles. As soon as the pores open, the body absorbs the natural
herbs and releases toxins via sweating, while painful muscles, backache, stress, anxiety disorders, as well as migraines, can find instant relief.
Typical ingredients used in Thai herbal steams include lemongrass, kaffir lime and kaffir leaves, turmeric, galangal, plai (similar to ginger essential oil, but much stronger), pandanus leaves, ginger, camphor and tamarind leaves.
Fah Lanna Spa also adds fresh plai and kaffir lime to make this treatment even more special. Herbal steam is also very good to prepare your skin before aromatherapy massage, body scrub and body mask, so do not hesitate to add this technique during your next spa treat!
