Perhaps the trendiest handicraft event in Chiang Mai, Nimmanhaemin Art Promenade 2017 promises design, creati-vity and uniqueness, from January 28th to February 3rd, 2017.
Nimman soi 1 is a tiny street where one can find many established local brands of home decor stores, galleries, cafes, restaurants and boutique hotels. Once a year it becomes the heart of the most popular art and design event of Chiang Mai: NAP-Nimman Art and Design Promenade. This event fills the already colorful street with stalls displaying local and modern art, trendy designs and unique craftwork for sale. There are also lots of fun all-day activities for kids, and a variety of charming DIY workshops in the afternoon. As night falls, performances, Jazz, Bossa, Latin, Blues, Classic and ethnic music are played by the best bands in town.
This year highlight is the celebration of Chiang Mai’s 720 year anniversary. The street will embrace the town’s pride and uniqueness together with stylish boutiques, unique artisan craft works and mouth-watering local dishes. Definitely an event to be enjoyed with the whole family!
