2.PAYAKA CAFE:
Walking into Payaka Café is like entering a fairy-tale - cakes are made like in the olden days, all housed in vintage decor.
Pasteries and cakes served in this cafe are home-made daily by Peppo, the owner. She is half Thai and half Canadian, and baking cakes is a familly hobby. Apart from her famous Carrot Cake, you might want to try the little less known Banana Hemp Cake, made with imported hemp from Japan.
Located in a traditional Thai wooden house, Payaka Café offers a a very laid back atmosphere in the garden and vintage style in the house. Inside the cafe is a trendy Japanese style hemp clothing shop.

3.FOREST BAKE CHIANG MAI:
This humble little wooden cabin is full of artisanal baked goods from Bain’s recipes originating from Scotland.
Situated at the heart of Chiang Mai just across the river from Warorot market, Forest Bake is a cosy little cafe coupled with homey quality cakes. They use wild homegrown yeast and real butter with no preservatives nor additives added. Most of their ingredients are imported, other than dairy and fruits to suit the local taste and to create uniqueness in the combination of East meets West.
They have recently expanded to Bangkok city under the name of Forest Bake Cabin in Capital the bakery showcase (Sukhumvit 22).

5.FLOUR FLOUR :
Flour Flour is the love story of a young Thai couple, Namfon and Dontree, with their bakery. The duo makes artisan bread and uses natural fermenation techniques.
They now have two locations: one in Nimman and the other behind Chiang Mai university in a nice garden. Both locations offer delicious breads and incredible Charcoa toast with toppings that include: peanut butter, fruit, fish, meat or vegetables. They also have vegan options.
Apart from running their bakeries, Dontree works as a part-time DJ and Namfon is a freelance filmmaker.

Baker Thames is a master at his craft. His wife is from Japan making Khagee Bread Café a beautiful mix between Japan minimal decor and European breads and pastries.
