The perfect afternoon at Tamarind Village starts with scones, jams and cream over a pot of earl grey tea. Served beautifully on tiered plates, the snacks included a delicious Thai touch with chicken wrap, crispy fried prawns spring roll, assorted Thai desserts along with strawberry Panna Cotta and mango Pudding with Aloe Vera and Pomelo. At Tamarind Village, only organic tea and organic forest coffee from the mountains of Chiang Mai are served.
Tamarind Village is a lovely boutique hotel boasting an ancient tamarind tree. Tucked away from the main street, yet in the very heart of the city, it is a secluded and quiet place. The hotel’s restaurant welcomes outside guests.
